STOPGAP 1200 is a versatile, two-component smoothing compound designed to create a level and sound surface for the installation of new floor coverings. Its fast-setting and fast-drying properties make it ideal for projects where time is a constraint. With its low odor formulation, it’s suitable for use in a variety of environments, including sensitive areas like hospitals and laboratories.

• Direct Application: Can be applied directly over a wide variety of subfloors, including old adhesive residues, carpet tile tackifier, and waterproof surface membranes.
• Moisture Tolerant: Suitable for application over damp, clean, uneven concrete and sand/cement screeds, making it a great choice for areas prone to moisture.
• Rapid Installation: Floor coverings can be laid as soon as 4 hours after application, minimizing downtime.
• High Build Capacity: Can be filled up to 30mm, allowing for the correction of significant subfloor irregularities.

• A 20kg bag of STOPGAP 1200 Powder mixed with 5.0 liters of STOPGAP 1200 Liquid will cover approximately 5.0m² at a thickness of 2-3mm.
• Coverage rates will vary depending on the condition of the subfloor.
